CSU researcher seeks to learn more about fat tissue disorder, lipedema
There is a growing awareness of a disease called lipedema, which causes fat to be distributed toward the lower body (legs and hips) under the skin.

CSU professor recognized for research in blood vessel function
For his extensive research in human cardiovascular physiology, Frank Dinenno, a professor in the Department of Health and Exercise Science and director of Colorado State University’s Human Cardiovascular Physiology Laboratory, was awarded the 2018 Inaugural Environmental and Exercise Physiology (EEP) Impact Award by the American Physiological Society. CSU researcher to study positive effects of blueberries in postmenopausal women
A CSU faculty member is leading an interdisciplinary research team that will study the effects of blueberries on cardiovascular health in postmenopausal women with elevated blood pressure.
The project is headed by Sarah A. Johnson, an assistant professor and director of the Functional Foods & Human Health Laboratory in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition.
